5. If conditions permit, apply a proper amount of “thread anti-seize agent” to the new spark plug thread before installing the spark plug. When the spark plug is installed, the spark plug should be fixed (magnetic sleeve or double-sided tape) and the spark plug should be plugged back into place. It is forbidden to put the spark plug directly from the mounting hole. The height drop may cause the side electrode to deform and cause the gap to become smaller, resulting in early jump fire affecting the smoothness of the engine.

7. In the absence of a torque wrench, the spark plug can be pre-tensioned as shown in the figure above. The flat base spark plug has a pre-tightening angle of 90° and the conical base has a pre-tightening angle of 15°.
